Lifetime 4 ft picnic table YMMV $30 Walmart

This is my first post, please be nice! Smilie

On Walmart's website, they are currently $167.99. I went to my local Walmart and the worker just finished putting the $30 tags on them. I grabbed a few. I had to go to the store in order to get the price. It wasn't posted anywhere except for on the picnic table boxes. I put 1 together tonight, and it's good quality. While you're there, check out the other clearance in the garden center. Tons of good deals!

I think about 4' x 5' and 4-6 inches tall. It should fit in a suv.

Brickseek shows $25 and between from 2-5 in stock at several local(ish) Wal-Marts near me. Just visited 3 of them within a 25 mile radius and each said they've been sold out for months Frown

Lol. I'm definitely no newbie (which is why I didn't phone first). At each store I worked through every aisle & space in the Lawn & Garden Centers looking for both assembled & flat-packed furniture. Then over to regular furniture before finally heading for clearance. After that I asked CS in two stores where their picnic tables where, got them look up by item # (still got 'OOS'). Since I didn't totally trust them, I went to find staff in each of the three Garden Centers & asked them where the outdoor furniture might be (without mentioning SB, Brickseek or sales) when I didn't find anything.

CS just said they could only be ordered online, Garden Center guys in all three Wal-Marts were the ones who told me:
1. "What's left of our yard furniture is already out. If you don't see it there, we ain't got it"
2. "We haven't had those in over a month"
3. "We sold out of those months ago"

Trust me, I dug! Smilie

Typical Walmart goose chase deal. Their inventory is so crapppy these days they don't know what they actually have in store stock. You may get lucky if you need a non folding table.
