Thanks and repped OP. Great deal, the cheapest I have ever seen it was $45 at Macys a couple of months ago. Much better air fryer than the $40-$45 Wal Mart Farberware one (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Farber...e/54297049). The Wal Mart one's non-stick coating comes off really bad (had two and returned them both, and seems like a common issue), even with cleaning it real gently with soap and a sponge. The Bella one is just made so much better (the coating is so much better, etc) and has a 60 minute timer, compared to 30 minutes for the Farberware one.

I like my Farberware one but now I am tempted to buy this one and keep the better of the two. I don't mind the Farberware only has a 30 minute time but if the nonstick is going to fail soon that would suck... have you used both?

I sure would. The Bella one just is made so much better. The one and only bad thing with the Bella is-it has a stronger smell when you get it, but it goes away after a few uses. Check out the reviews of them at Amazon and Macys. https://www.amazon.com/BELLA-Elec...+air+fryer

I bought this during last BF sale from KOHLS for $30 after Rebate ( excluding $15 KOhls cash). So far I am happy with the purchase. Have been using every other day. Last week, the latch which bottom basket and food holder basket started to act up. Whenever I shake the food, the latch comes off.

Reviews look great, but never really looked into an air fryer before. I commonly make sweet potato fries. Would this be a good option for that and does it make it any unhealther than say the oven?

Sweet potato fries? The frozen ones come out fine for me with the Farberware. You might need to reduce the temperature a bit and cook longer -- it sounds like they need to dry out a bit more during the cooking cycle.

Maybe edit your temp. I love my Walmart farbeware one. Been using it for months and bought two more for relatives. I do wish the basket was bigger to make larger quantities but that's my only gripe with it

Who wants to eat food cooked on top of hot coil? Yummy or yucky
I like my oil deep fried stuff.
I have been using mine almost daily for months. As far as I know there is no hot coil. This works similar to a convection oven. To each their own though. I personally don't want to eat my food dripping with grease and I also enjoy not being fat.
