I had a few times where I made my Kohls payment, it never registered and they charged me a $25 late fee. I ended up cancelling the card.

I have this shoe and like it. Use it exclusively for running, both on and off-trail. The color scheme I prefer isn't available for store pickup in my area, so I selected one that is. On a whim, I also added the one I prefer, for shipping, and with 2 shoes in the order it qualifies for free shipping (I don't have a Kohl's card so I have to meet their minimum for free shipping). So I'm wondering, if I place this order, can I return the one I don't want, wait for the one I prefer to arrive, and not be charged for shipping after the fact? The one I return will just go back to my local store's stock, so it's no big deal for Kohl's.

Every retailer seems to have such loopholes, but I'm wondering if this one works.

I am using kohls card for last 6 years, no problem. Just make sure to call customer service before you pay any late fees as they can not return your payment once it is paid. For a genuine reason they always waive the late fee.

I found these to be cheap quality and stiff.. if you want really plush comfort or have foot problems like me spend the extra and get the nimbus. Things like this you get what you pay for

Kohl's will take back almost anything for a return or exchange. They're probably one of the most lenient retailers. So yeah, just return it to store for a refund or exchange. The only downside is you have to make a trip to the store.
