Sorry, I don't know how to tell you it works, but just know it does!
Car seats, carpets, especially stairs and along walls, pet beds, cat condo (I'd be lost without it here), I have to use it when I launder pet things because the washer leaves hair! I even use it to brush out most hair before I launder furniture covers.
