I have been waiting for a Yamaha deal to come back around. This one only has 5 rear HDMI inputs and that is pretty limiting. Everything else seems awesome. Anyone see any other models that are on sale with more inputs? Also, does anyone have an extra coupon code they are not going to use? Thanks for posting this

No longer available for shipping but a nice price for a 2017 model with Dolby Vision, Tidal and Deezer update available.

No shipping now, have to keep an eye out they change options often. I got the denon Avrs930h shipped for $359.00, this is a better deal. I will be happy with the denon but this is a stronger machine

The denon has 8 HDMI inputs all HDCP 2.2 while the the Yamaha has 6 with only 3 that are HDCP 2.2. Plus the Denon has 2 HDMI outs while the Yamaha has one.

I just like the higher output of Yamaha. 110 clean 8ohm! My speakers would likey!!! Plus the thing has Yamaha guts! Built vewry nice! But I will try and blow up a new denon instead. Nice to see more receiver sales.

95 watts actually. From Crutchfield site. But they say Yamaha is best built AVR.

95 watts per channel into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.06% THD, with 2 channels driven
Dolby® and DTS® surround sound decodingDolby Atmos and DTS:X for more enveloping home theater sound
supports a 5.1.2 Atmos setup with multiple placement patterns for height channelsvideo upconversion (up to 1080p and 4K) for analog and HDMI sourcesYPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) automatic speaker calibration with Reflected Sound Control to deliver more accurate surround sound across different listening levels (microphone included)Cinema DSP modes add richness and depth to music and movie soundtracks

Their site says they won't hold it for more than 72 hours at
http://www.frys.com/template/help...ore_pickup

So if I can't go to pick it up until Saturday, I guess that means I would have to wait until Thursday to order and hope it is still in stock by then?

Fry's has the Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A770BL AV receiver for $379 after promo code. Good 7/23 through 7/29, in-store and online shipping, where available. See ad attached. Full ad here: http://images.frys.com/art/email/...n_web.html

Last year's model RX-A760BL was clearanced out at $325 less than 2 months ago. https://slickdeals.net/f/10235708-fry-s-some-onkyo-denon-yamaha-pioneer-receivers-for-50-off-on-saturday-6-10-after-promo-code-from-125-to-450

This unit has all the latest and greatest: ATMOS, DTX:X, HDCP 2.2, HDR 10 / Dolby Vision™ / HLG and BT.2020 compatible. My only knock against it is that it lacks pre-outs and only 3 of the 5 HDMI inputs are HDCP2.2. Pre-outs are there for Zone 2 but not the main zone.

Denon is 90 watts .08%thd 20-20,000 hz. Funny how they liketo twist the specs, I was reading different %. Both good receivers, watch now there are gonna speaker deals and subwoofers. I'm gonna end up divorced over these deals lol. My fortune cookie i got the other day said "buy things because you need them not because it is on sale"
