I've spit hundreds of pieces of chewed gum out on busy sidewalks...never gave me a problem.

And just as I don't know about the poor shmo behind me who stepped in gum, I wouldn't know what happens in city lines when I flush thousands of these wipes.... that was the whole point of my post.

Consider looking up videos on what happens when these "flushable" items go into pipes and sewer systems.

Meh to each and their own. I've flushed over 1000's of these in my household. No issues

That you're aware of. These tend to backup city lines. And when that happens it's your tax dollars that pay for the repairs. So inevitably, you do end up having issues.

"Your own" household and sidewalks are completely different. You won't know what happened in a sidewalk but household you'd know

There is no such thing as a "flushable" wipe. These things are a huge problem for wastewater collection systems. Please do some research and avoid flushing these. I recommend throwing them into a covered garbage bin next to the toilet rather than flushing if you really must use them.

Baby Wipes are actually a decent enough size to get the job done for grown ups too. Toilet Wipes are usually too small and more expensive. I remember Charmin having some decent sized ones years ago but they've probably made them smaller like they've done with their toilet paper.
