I bought this last time. I love it. The fans don't cycle on/off automatically. There's a button that controls two fans under the ps4. It also keeps my controllers charged. It is compatible with those rubber joystick happy thumbs extenders. Cheaply made for sure, but no problems yet ~6 months.

I need a stand for my PS4, but this one has mixed reviews. Does anyone have one that they recommend?

Did you contact the seller? Just curious if the seller lived up to this warranty claim on the product page. It looks like they have 24-month warranty.

As for Fakespot, if it's less than $15, I usually don't pay too much attention to them. Amazon is pretty good at refunding or allowing for returns if I don't like the product.

I guess it's plenty useful for the space-constrained...

...but PS4s tend to get quite hot, especially the older non-slim ones. I prefer not to have my media stacked right next to it. Frown

FYI these stands obstruct airflow more than they help. Your better off getting some 1/2" rubber feet to stick on the bottom.

The air comes in the sides and out the back. What will raising the system 1/2" do? How would that help the air flow?

Because keeping it on its own sides is almost the same as just covering the sides with tape you block the vents.

The same ideology goes for laptops; if you have intake vents on the bottom, even raising it a 1/4" will help.

The general consensus with PS4 coolers is that they employ this same problem. They block the vents but then rejuvenate the idea of cooling by using fans. Issue is that PS4 coolers try to blow in air into the tiny slit whereas just letting the PS4's intake fans do the job by not restricting airflow in the first place would be better.

This broke within a month but customer support replaced it immediately. I just don't trust it.

I give Fakespot an F, it's a mostly useless "service." This is Amazon: if the product sucks, you return it. You don't even have to go somewhere, you can just put it in the box and UPS picks it up. Only time wasted is unpacking, repacking, and printing a label.
