here's a good article to answer panel questions:
https://turbofuture.com/computers/Top-IPS-Gaming-Monitor-Responsiveness

been doing a little research on monitors myself lately. this is a ok/good deal because it's an IPS monitor with freesync and above average refresh rate. IPS panels typically average 4ms but are often subject to unrepairable phenomenon called IPS bleed and IPS glow. if you want 1ms those monitors use TN or twisted neumatic panels which have worse color and restrictive viewing angles. you practically have to be sitting directly in front of it.

going back to your question, it's suitable for gaming and most folks probably wouldn't notice the difference between 1ms and 4ms response time.

Thanks. I put the price in the box where it asked for price, figured it would list it in the title automatically.

If I'm looking for a cheap gaming monitor, should I go for this or the Westinghouse 32 in for $99?

Quantity vs Quality. It all comes down to the size of pixels. The Westinghouse is bigger and you will see more but images will be blurry because the pixels are so big because it is a 720 resolution. If that does not bother you then go for it. Yet if you would rather have sharper images then This LG monitor is better because it will have almost twice as many pixels on a smaller screen.

This is a great deal if you have an AMD graphics card that optimizes with Freesync.

Isn't 5ms a little slow for a "gaming monitor" or does it not matter @75hz?
