It's overpriced at $ 236, but a decent deal if you're OK with picking it up.

As a avid pc sim racer I have no experience with the wheel itself but have heard the wheel is decent but that pedals are horrible. It'd work for Forza or Need For Speed would not recommend for sims like iRacing or AC.

What? No, this is for the TMX, which comes complete (in fact, as far as I understand, the wheel cannot be removed/changed like the t300/500).

As far as this wheel goes, I have both a t500 and a t150. The t150 is very similar to this one, except this one works on Xbox/PC (t150 is PlayStation/PC), and has a bit less wheel rotation (1080 vs 900). The t500 is obviously a much nicer wheel but this is an excellent deal for somebody starting out in sim racing. I will say though, it looks like this package comes with the basic pedals. I highly recommend grabbing a set of the t3pa pedals, as they can be found for about $100, and are MUCH better than these. Still, the wheel itself should be killer for somebody new (or needing an extra wheel for friends if you have multiple systems to play on)

Never bought one of these, always wanted one.
What does servo do? Is that like the vibration motor for feedback?
Also I don't see foot pedals on the pics, I am guessing those aren't included.

Thanks

GameStop has this set and says with wheel and pedals for $199. But I'm not sure what's going on as there is also a TX Servo Base for Xbox One/PC that's )300-$400. Idk, I haven't kept track of all the Thrustmaster wheels in a while. Lol

He means the wheel base. On the more expensive wheels (t300/500, TS-PC, TX), you can remove the wheel rim and change it to a different style. You can also buy some of those without rims at all (in case you already have a rim or whatever).

This is NOT the case with this deal. This deal comes with the TMX wheel and basic pedals. You cannot change the rim of the TMX wheel, but it's supposed to be a more budget friendly wheel, which explains that a bit I guess.

As I mentioned in my previous comment, it's highly recommended you get the T3PA pedals if you get this set, as they are MUCH better than the set that come with this deal. These are usable, but the upgrade is just that much better. The wheel itself is totally fine, and with the upgraded pedals, it's an EXTREMELY solid choice for somebody starting sim racing. Even with the basic pedals, it's not a bad deal

I've been using this set with iRacing for about a month and have no issues. The pedals aren't great, but they get the job done once you get a feel for them. I highly recommend this if you want to get into sim racing without breaking the budget.

Personally, I think Forza and NFS are much more suited for controller use. However, if you just want to have fun and aren't concerned about being competitive online, this set would be great.

No, that's not correct at all. The TMX/T150 comes complete. Likewise, the pedals can be upgraded later and a shifter can be added. $138+tax is the cheapest I've seen this in a while, good deal if you want FFB in a wheel as am entry point.
