I have been looking for a 65-75inch TV, this one looked like a solid deal.

Anyone have any thoughts about this TV? Is it a good purchase worth making?

Thanks

Price expires in 35 minutes.

Edit: How odd - it shows that online shipping is not available, but also specifies that local delivery is sold out when the nearest store is several states away.

60Hz on a 75". Why on earth would they make such a thing? For slide shows?

Have the 55in variant and it does the job. Picture is bright, 4k is decent. You basically get an above average TV for a low price. I would definitely buy this if I had the room for it. Gyroscope remote sucks though, so use the directional pad instead. Smart features are good but still need a Chromecast if you want to cast certain apps on your TV. LG has its own casting option but it only works on a few apps like YouTube.

60hz refresh rate for 75" is very slow. I would wait for 75sj8570 to drop the price to this range.

This set comes with the standard remote, not the LG Magic Motion Remote. I bought the Magic Motion remote separately because I like it much better than the d-pad format of the standard remote. You can get the MM remote for about $45-50. FWIW, the Magic Remote and LG's WebOS are highly rated among enthusiasts.

Sound is sub par so unless you have home theater setup, expect to spend $ on a sound bar at least. I paired this with the Yamaha ATS-1060 and I've been really pleased with the sound. The 1060 I bought from Costco at $80. The Costco pricetag said $159.99 but my unit (last one) rung up at $80.
