Great deal on a nicely rated soldering iron. Been eyeing this for a while and nearly at an all-time low according to the camel.

This was FP @ $30.35 back in May, even hotter now!

Additionally Walmart has this for the same price $40.68-13.08=$27.60 with the pickup discount.

I have two of them. ESD safe and 60W. Using them for about 3 years regularly still going strong.

Note that this iron does not have grounding so not rated as ESD safe. So it might be good as a hobby iron not great for sensitive electronic work. There are a few similarly priced iron that are ESD safe and includes more tips and accessories

Good to note. I'd probably spring for an iron that is temperature controlled if I were working with sensitive electronics anyway.. that isn't in this price range though.

Skip this model. Slow to heat up and no thermostat control, just a duty cycle dial. You're better off with a no name with thermostat.

Also on the "Skip This" train. I've had an assortment of irons & found the Hakko 888D to be one of the best 'bang-for-your-buck' digital stations. Use it consistently with no problems.
