4 GB RAM is a major downside for longevity, otherwise nice feature set for the price.

No. Typically ultraportables like these have RAM soldered onto the system board. 4 GB is okay for light tasks like document editing and such, but a lot of Chrome tabs will quickly eat up RAM. Windows needs about 1 GB just for itself.

I have this and for normal works like browsing (not 15 Chrome Tab), streaming FHD contents, Word and excel, it works perfectly fine. People complaining about the Ram, forgetting that Surface Pro 4 entry level model comes with same hardware but costs $200 more. Only downside it battery life which is not up to the mark when compared to other Core M Ultrabooks. Another thing, this is compatible with Active pens and any WACOM AES pen works with it.
I have the Lenovo Yoga Pen with 2048 Sensitivity and that works perfectly with it.
