seems like if you are going this route and you have a costco card it's better to spend 30 more to get the 2+2 warranty and a dedicated graphics card

I'd get the newer model instead while it is on sale. The right shift key doesn't have an arrow taking up part of its space and it has a usb type c port. Graphics card better as well.

thanks, didn't see the keyboard thing but I think for my niece it's not worth the addtional $120 for this model since warranty is the same and same 7th gen i5. No gaming going on so basic functions should be equal.

What's the main difference between this and the xps 13? Is it just that the xps is ultra book size?
