Raise.com scam. Please stay away!!!

Just wanted to share my bad experience with raise.com. I had purchased $50 gift card and I went to the store today and it shows the balance as only $25.05 . Please stay away from raise.com

i agree, and card cash is even worse, they only guarantee for 60 days. I went to use a 200. card, and they said it didn't work. Wasted money, and my credit card company couldn't do anything.

Another company I sent my giftcard to took my credit card information. If anything happened to the balance they would charge me. 1 year seems pretty reasonable. Next time buy it when youre ready to use the gift card I guess? All the companies have similar complaints.

so what are you complaining about? they have a 1 year guarantee, if you didnt find out the balance within the year it is your fault. unfortunate, but it is clearly outlined in their policies.

wow, so you bought a gift card 2 years ago, and are complaining that it only has half its value.... can yo check the history on line and identify when you last used it? i guarantee you used this at some point over the past 2 YEARS and just forgot. thats not raise's fault... but sure stay away form them and share it with all your idiot friends, that just means more gift cards for me =)

I am not complaining here. Most of my friends might be thinking we had purchased a gift card without knowing this issue.. Just wanted to warnmy slick deals friends...

Sorry but this idiotic post doesn't show any type of scam. They have a one year policy which is pretty generous for that type of website and you waited over a year and are simply mad at your own mistake. Grow up...

dont be silly in expecting me to believe someone who fraudulently used that card only used half, and then felt bad, and couldnt wipe it out entirely... so dont go bashing a company that you cant quite wrap your head around that they cannot reimburse you for 24.xx that you already spent there.

Well. If you face this issue one day... then you realize the fact... don;t be stupid... If I would have used ... then there is no need to warn the people here.. have some level of common sense and type with your conscience. period.

So you don't read the Raise T&Cs, then you complain when you have an issue?

Any secondary market GC should be used as soon as possible. Almost every post that links to a company selling used gift cards has warnings to use the cards within the guaranteed time frame. I've purchased a few from CardCash, but I always use them within 30 days of receiving. Two of the cards I've purchased were zero balance, and after contacting customer service I was refunded the next day.

I bought two cards, two separate times. Both were empty before I used them. Raise have me my money back, but it was a hassle. Was about to months later.
