Thanks for the heads-up. Did anyone else find Microsoft's website screwy? I was not able to snag this in my browser. It would be nice to get home from work and find it's already downloaded / installed.

This is a good deal for this game. If you have no intention of playing this game into Oblivion and farm every important item, a weeks worth will get you through all 5 acts of normal mode. This is essentially the whole story as you do it 2 more times on higher difficulty to reach "top level." I found the game very entertaining with the character movesets and a mindless smash and cash game. Story and art are appealing as well! Playing it for a week will get most people fix if they ever wanted to try it.

I'm assuming you played D3 when it first came out based on the "2 more times" comment since that's how they structured it originally. Changed it a bit since then that basically detaches from the storyline but agree that 1 week is more than enough to get the gist of it.

Interesting, Free D3 weekend the week/weekend that the Path of Exile Xbox beta starts. Makes one think.

Is this sort a free trial and it's only good for 4 days, or is it free forever if you download during this time?

Will stop working once date expires. It's not a game with gold type deal where you get it forever.

You are exactly right. My mistake, it has been over a year since I played so I thought it was the same. Still a great game though for a free period!

Probably going to end up getting this after the free play ends tonight. I had it for the 360 before we switched to the XB1. In hindsight I wish I had seen the $19.99 deal a few weeks ago! The DLC isn't that big of a draw but this game doesn't look like it goes on sale that often so the bundle may be the best bet.

LOL oh the hours I've spent looking for SOJs. Actually found one of my own once...ONCE! What a timesuck that game was. I played D3 this weekend and am getting sucked back in, but will wait for a deal on D3. Can't believe the Necro expansion is $15 just for ONE more char. Seems a waste to me. I saw the ultimate edition with everything included for $38.99 but I still thought that was too much considering the reaper of souls has gone for $20.

Exactly ha. I dont mind not getting necro for $15. I was about 70% through act 2 on the freeplay days. I guess ill wait for it to be on sale again or even blackfriday or maybe if they release complete edition on disc, stores will clearance out the ultimate reaper edition.
