I think so...honestly, $200 for a good set of irons for a mid range handicapper/starter

I'd rather buy a decent set of clubs than by a box set of starters and upgrade next season...waste of money imho

He means make sure the flex is correct for you swing speed.

Regular flex is fine for moderate swing speeds.

You can have your swing speed checked at most Sporting goods stores with a simulator (Dicks, PGA, Golf Galaxy)
