OMG a lens that I want is in stock, however I rarely touch my Canon gear these days. It would be one of those ocassional things. So tempting. What to do, what to do. Back in the day I use to always look for this lens to come on sale on their refurb's and it would always be out of stock.

I bought an 85mm 1.8. I wish that they would also have the 55-250mm IS STM on sale.

I hate you Slickdeals. I must resit the temptation to get the 24-70 II for $1462 including tax. I think that has been the lowest price this year.

Buy now, regret the missing money in your bank account later.

Feel free to pass the unused Canon gear to a broke aspiring Rebel user, desperately wanting an upgrade but lack the funds!

Haha.. Somewhat Similar story here. Though I want to get out often, I often end up capturing just the family photos. But, I am trying to go out more. Is this the lowest one can see for the 70-200? Will be a significant investment and do not want to feel very bad seeing a much lower price.

I used that cashback site that rhymes with rebates and got 4% cashback instead of the 2.5% it says on the website. Actually it's supposed to be 1.75% for refurbished items according to the details. Anyway, my cashback account was credited $10.40 after it shipped.

Set up an e-alert on canonpricewatch.com, you'll get an e from them if Canon restocks inventory for that lens. I've use Gordon's CPW's service many times on hard to get "L" lenses, the ones which sell out fast, when Canon runs these refurb sales. Also be sure to have your CC ready for a fast check out on Canon's site once you receive the notice. Even if you have the lens in your cart you need to check out fast or someone else may checkout before you, leaving you with no lens available anymore to buy.
