Oui by Yoplait - 3 FAR @ Walmart possible money maker

Walmart sells Oui by Yoplait [ouibyyoplait.com] (yogurt) for $1.34 (by me at least, shoreline CT - not sale price but regular price). ibotta has a $1.50 rebate each (only at WM), up to 3 per receipt.

So, best case you get 3 of these for -$0.16/ea; worst case they are FAR (if ibotta corrects the rebate to the lower sale price).

There is also a "generic yogurt" $0.25 rebate which would sweeten the deal. (possibly expired)

Sounds good, but where's the rebate form?

It's an Ibotta app rebate. Good deal. The app even states it as a free after rebate product. Also states 'May be redeemed up to 3 times per receipt'. Great deal.

Yeah confirmed that I did get the full $1.50 each so they actually paid me to take the yogurt.

Another tidbit... I've noticed that the exact same product will often have different rebates with different amounts depending on the retailer. For example, Kevita usually has a $0.50 rebate with stop and shop. But $1 at Wal-Mart. The rebates are loaded in ibotta separately. Wal-Mart is cheaper to boot.

Ibotta is a smartphone app that gives you rebates. There are some generic rebates That are recurring (like eggs, oj, yogurt) but most are brand and product specific. They also have volume and signup bonuses.

I signed up less than a month ago and already have $75 in my account. Most of that was via automated bonuses and 2 large purchases with best buy and boxed

This apparently expired last night as I went to WallyWorld and neither of our Ibotta accts still had this. Reported as expired, it certainly didn't get the heart it should have!

Ibotta is a scam and so is Shopkick. They have been going downhill in term of Cash Return. At least I have collected some money out of Shopkick before they forced people to turn on Bluetooth and GPS but still didn't give them anything back.

On the other hand, I have not cashed anything out of Ibotta yet.

That's the only catch with ibotta... rebates expire relatively quickly and at odd TIMES. They aren't like most rebates which expire on a DATE only but also a specific time, usually like 3:03 AM or something strange laugh out loud

It might be user-specific too.

Yea. That part sucks. I wish they made the expiration more noticeable.
