I purchased this for Christmas... never again. They are sample size and you will be stuck with 60 super small containers with just a tiny amount of play-doh each, and the lids are very resistant to open...
However, this will be great for kids to give to classmates for Valentine's Day or as birthday party favors... maybe Christmas stockings.

I agree with you but if you have real young kids (under 2.5 years) its great. In my experience most kids demand the playdoh be accessible and cant open the lid. They have you open and fret if it's closed. This inevitably leads to solid dough and a feeling of wasted money. At least here ypur cash is not wasted as much and you have a lot of replacements.

I mean, Play-Doh tastes good and everything, but isn't candy a little more traditional?

Yes it is but they end up with so much candy this will be a nice change.

Actually "finger lights" is what I usually hand out, look them up on a m a z o n if you are not familiar

I bought 9 packs, my store had 19 but they had to get me some from the back. They come in cases of 4.
