For $40 more, I feel the Amplifi provides significant improvement to the nodes compared to the Google wifi FP deal. Note, there is no option for Ethernet backhaul as the nodes lack ethernet ports.

That's not a bad price on the kit, however I'm personally going to be buying two of the main units and connecting them with a wired backhaul. That is still under $270 (before tax) and a better value in my opinion.

You can mesh two main reason routers? You need hard wired ethernet port I assume.

From what I've read they'll mesh fine without a hardwire, they're actually selling them in three packs now.
