i have one of these and it works as expected. the telescopic part is decently durable and the magnet on the end is decently strong. to turn on or off you twist the end closed for on and untwist for off. untwist all the way to open for battery replacement.

I haven't seen that many SYW deals on here lately. Seems like a few months ago there were a bunch of free after points and 50% back in points at Sears.

This is cool but I would prolly never use just like this gravity hook I bought for $35.

This is a great deal if you have a use for it.

That depends on the current state of your golf swing.

I use mine if I accidentally drop nuts/screws/sockets into my car engine chassis. Also, if I screw off a bolt on my car with my impact wrench, I'll use it to grab it before I take my wrench off the bolt (to prevent it from falling). Also works great for removing spark plugs and other not easily accessible bolts etc.

I find them pretty useful. I grabbed a few from HD on clearance for about $3/ea (magnet end on mine seems physically smaller, might not be as magnetically powerful).

Looks like a good price.
I have a cheapo one from HF, had it in my tool bag for over two year and never used it till this one time that i dropped a socket behind an engine block in a tight compartment. this thing was a good send saved me a huge headache.
