Decent price, but your math is wrong ($39.99 coupon) and you should state what the coupon code is.

And for the love of God, stop reposting this thread. I see you've posted it three times now.

Fixed it thanks! I made a duplicate post and entered the info on the other post.
The site was not showing as submitted and kept redirecting me back which is why it showed up three times. For the love of God, relax.

What's the drawback of using their eBay store?

Thanks for this. I know it will likely be cheaper around the holidays, but I've really been pining for MLB: The Show with the Astros having success this year.

Well, you can't do returns if the console decides to not work. Not too sure how PayPal would handle that. But supposedly, using shoprunner via Neweggs site can help you with that.

Decent price, and am tempted to get this since I want to start playing Madden, but this console really isn't at "deal level" imo until it hits $300.

I pulled the trigger due to it being tax free. I know it will be cheaper around Black Friday but I wanted to recreate the Astros success in The Show while the season is still active.

Newegg.com doesn't offer returns either. However, I bought a defective laptop from them through eBay last year and was able to return it without an issue. They will usually work with you on a defective item. PayPal is also a huge benefit to your favor.

I thought the same thing. This is essentially like getting it for $335 + tax, which I doubt will hit that low during BF/Holidays.

I pulled the trigger also for the exact same reason. Plus, used PayPal credit 6-month interest-free payment schedule so it's a total win.

Welcome to Sony Community!

To answer your questions, your proof of purchase/receipt directly from the middle web vendor or unauthorized dealer/retailer is sufficient for getting Sony warranty service as long as the proof of purchase/receipt contains the following:

Vendor (dealer/retailer)'s name
Date of purchase or Shipment date
Model name or number
Price paid
Any conditions of sale

You don't need to have the receipt showing the transaction between middle web vendor and Sony-authorized distributor.

Regards,
Jen
