Sears [sears.com]has the 4-Shelf Gladiator Welded Steel Shelving Unit (8000lb Capacity, GARS774XEG) on sale for $149.99. Not as good as the Home Depot deal last month but still a good price. I also had $15 in surprise points which brought it down to $135 but not sure if that will show up for everybody.

The dimensions are 73" H x 77" W x 24" D and it includes a Lifetime Limited Manufacturer Warranty.

It's not a cell phone. Shelves don't necessarily get cheaper from year to year...

Hey OP, nice rack!
Great if you need a heavy duty one, otherwise the costco racks even if not on sale are probably better choice.

That storage example has the most testosterone filled random stuff. 25 gallons of water, cinder blocks, tires and propane.

I wish I could remember what I paid for mine. I don't think I paid this, or even close. They are strong. As others have alluded too. Best you have a truck to transport. HEAVY!

Are these any different from the Whalen ones Costco sells? If not any appreciable difference, then they're currently on sale at Costco for $129 (for members of course).

This is NOT hot! It was the sale price a year ago. That said, I got was fortunate to get one using points acquired from other SD deals for $50 out the door.

Now after having it for some time, I am more likely to pay full price ($150) after seeing it live up to it's claims. The shelf is a toolless design but it's so heavy duty, you may want a second person to assist in assembly, which is straight forward.

A garage shelf only! Don't even consider putting it indoors. I have mine loaded down with 2 heavy duty emergency generators (still in the boxes), 2 A/C units, 2 engine blocks, future projects (Furniture), and a load of the heaviest stuff I had laying around in the garage.

This one shelf has allowed me to reclaim a bunch of much needed floor space in the garage. If you are worried about reliability, don't be. It's a beast and shelves are fully configurable!

With surprise points ($10), cashback, and SYWR points back ($13), I bought these instead of the Costco ones to save myself the trouble of lugging these out of the store and also matching some Gladiator cabinets I already have.
