150MB/s would be 1.2Gb/s since they are different units (Bits vs bytes). Hard drives are slow, they can't possibly transfer at the full 6Gbps.

6Gbps SATA is just the protocol/connector standard. Note - even 150MBps will saturate a 1 Gb Ethernet connection, so keep that in mind for NAS applications.

I think this is the 64MB cache model. Not an excellent deal like the WD Easystore was, but it's okay.

Aren't these Reds usually 5400 RPM? Maybe that's why it only does 150MB/s?
