i did boom a while ago for cancun for the week pf the 21st (lots of kids already back in school) and our roundtrip was very cheap, 7k points and $80 per person

I believe you have to fly to Ft Lauderdale or Houston maybe Baltimore for international destinations on Southwest I could be mistaken though

The only cities listed on the Southwest site are those with direct flights to the destinations. If you're willing to take a little risk (they won't find you an alternative route if your first flight is delayed, so look up the history of the flight ahead of time), you can book a flight to FLL, HOU, etc and then fly from there.

It was cheaper for me to book a flight from A -> HOU, then book HOU -> MEX than it would be if I booked it from A -> MEX.
