Stumbled upon this deal. Much cheaper than what is available on Amazon, etc.

Using this as my smart home hub to control Sylvania bulbs and Leviton switches. I opted for this convention versus using Hue bulbs and Lutron Caseta switches - both of those require their own hubs and don't integrate with any smart hubs.

Cheers!

Not true... Wink has had Caseta support without the need for a proprietary hub since Wink 1.

Correct Titan. Though I have seen demos in which Wink Hub performance is slower than when using caseta hub.

Thanks, got this same deal a few weeks back, and now I'm hooked. 5 visonic door sensors, 4 motion detectors, honeywell thermostat, Rheem water heater, 5 bulbs and a few other things not officially supported. It all works amazing. And the smarthings community is A1 at helping, tweaking and integrating. It's all fairly simple to learn and really rewarding.

The included motion sensor is excellent . Over the weekend while we were away from home, my daughter returned home unexpectedly and unbeknownst to me. The samsung sensor snagged her immediately and works without any of the excessive false alerts typically given off by my security cameras.

can't wait to see what capabilities Samsung will add and someday hopefully they'll activate the Bluetooth built in the hub.

How is 40% off of $139 come out to $99? Samsung needs to learn how to math.

It's $40 off, not 40%. :-)

Need a hub but don't need the bulbs. Ugh. I missed the recent $80 hub deal.

I still haven't figured out how to tell the future. This is a pretty good deal. There will be other good deals too. Just depends on if you want to wait or not.
