  • Minimum five-day rental with Saturday night required
  • Valid for rentals 8/17/17 – 9/30/17 (blackout dates apply)
  • Book 8/1/17 – 8/31/17
  • Online bookings only
(Specifications from email confirmation)

I know it's cheaper than the rental websites, but I've only used it for Enterprise. Mine was around like $20 cheaper through Costco

I've used Costco Travel for Car Rental several times. For me, they typically point me to Budget for 5-10% lower rate. The nice benefit is that you get a second driver included in the rate. It hasn't always saved me money, but I haven't found a lower rate than Costco's in over a year

Looked for a month-long car rental, non-airport location pickup, Compact/Economy in Irvine, CA.
Hertz (Gold Member discount) $766
Budget with a discount code: $707 or Paynow option $636
Costco travel (using Enterprise) $550 - BEST DEAL

For Costco I pay at rental pickup.

I always use costcotravel.com for car rentals for many many years. When I try to be a smart guy and get online codes elsewhere to book on a rental car company site directly, almost always 90%+ of time the Costco quote beats it.

Though I, too, typically find that Costco's rates are the lowest, I always enter my reservation into the Autoslash website. My most recent rental went down over $300 when I entered it on Autoslash. For those of you who have not used it, it's totally free. There's no catch. It's an easy way to save money.

Thanks! Autoslash dropped one of my rentals by $180, and confirmed the other one is as low as it is going to get.

To get the savings it used a corporate rate from a company I have nothing to do with. Any chance of being denied at the counter?

You need to pay the entire price with your card for your credit card rental insurance to apply
