That's a completely different laptop category. You should only be comparing 15 inch laptops with other 15 inch laptops.

I don't know why I bother. Yet another thread that will be ruined by video game nerds that think that's all a laptop is for.

Overkill for an XPS 13. You might as well get the 15 inch if you're going to spend that much.
But can you get an XPS with the same specs for $1350?!? I can't find a config to match at this price.

Which one deal is better, this one or from micro center 899$ (with tax and shipping ~990)?

Overkill for a 13" machine with an integrated graphics card. But definitely incredible specs for the money. You'd be better kicking in an extra $100-200 for the 15" model with 4K display & GTX 1050 though.

Not at all a gamer. But if you're in the market for a secondary machine you don't need these specs or to be in this price category. Something like the $749 Yoga 720 13 is a much better value for the money option.

Not really... the form factor of this 13 inch is so small I think many people might be surprised. The 15-inch size is actually pretty comparable to most other 13in Ultrabooks

$999

1yr extra warranty
1yr accidental
90 days refund

2% back if you're an executive member
2% back if you have the Costco Visa.

999-4%= $959 & yeah tax.

That price plus the accidental plus additional 1yr & refund policy is hard to beat. Just wish I was ready to pull the trigger.

Not a 1TB SSD, but still a great deal. I personally have a NAS at home so 512 is plenty.

One more thing if you didn't have the Costco card, you could attempt to get it with a cards 5% if a Visa card runs it. Then 5% minimum then 2% if you have the executive membership.

So 7% back on the $999 brings it down to $929.07 before tax technically.

Not sure how to squeeze any more out.

.
Looks decent... Is build quality as good as the XPS line? Screen isn't touch and it's lower res, but for some that'd be a plus (including battery life). Half the HDD size. DDR4 vs DDR3 Better graphics...

hmmmm....Confused
