They look to be pretty identical in specs minus a foot or two in signal distance from device. Talk time, play back are relatively close. I've bought a couple urlhasbeenblocked products, hit or miss imo. My biggest concern with the otium headphones we purchased yesterday is that it said 2 phones can be connected at the same time. So my question is, if I'm at a traffic light, is there a chance the guy next to me can search out headphones around him via Bluetooth and get in on my conversation and/or listen in?

The headphones have to be in pairing mode to uh, pair them.

These are cheap headphones. As long as you know what you're getting and keep your expectations in check, you'll be satisfied. Definitely look at the critical, verified purchase reviews.

urlhasbeenblocked likes to exaggerate the specs. As an example, they list these as "waterproof" but also state an IP rating of 4 which is at best splash-proof. In addition, I've tried multiple pairs of urlhasbeenblocked bluetooth headphones that were supposed to be waterproof and sweatproof, and all have died after being exposed to sweat. I had one pair that lasted a grand total of 25 minutes before dying (not the battery, but the headphones became unresponsive, never to return).

Is the mic any good? The last pair of urlhasbeenblocked I had (the "seashell" model from a recent FP deal) are extremely quiet when talking on the phone, almost to the point of being useless. I'm still looking for a bluetooth mic that's comparable to wired earbuds/mic. At least, for under $30...

I've had these for a few months and I'm pretty impressed with them for the price. I use them a few days a week at the gym and they are good for that purpose. Sound is better than some other cheap ones I have and never had any problems pairing them. Audio does cut out from time to time but not a lot, and that could have something to do with my phone too. I don't have to charge them that often either. Biggest thing for me is they stay in my ears very well and that's something that doesn't happen often for me with earbuds. If something cheap like this lasts a year or two I'm satisfied.

My last set from Akaso? Here on Slickdeals last deal would die at 30% - iphone and MacBook would say 30% and the headset would repeat battery low then shut down. Company is replacing at no charge. Get to keep handicap set for junkers and these deals beat out breaking a nice pair on accident. I'd rather go the disposable route quite honestly. I keep my expectations low and they exceed
