Seems pricey for scissors, why buy these as opposed to cheaper ones?

These are 'shears' used for kitchen tasks like trimming off fat from raw meat, cutting whole poultry, cutting herbs, slicing pizza, and a variety of other kitchen things. Unlike regular scissors, these have enforced hinges and thicker blades to withstand pressure, resist warping while cutting, and the stainless steel supposedly resists rust and retains edge for longer, as long as its properly maintained. Whilr they are primarily kitchen shears, they can be used in whatever task. I prefer to keep mine as kitchen-only to prevent cross contamination/extra cleaning.
