Seems weird to have wood look tiles not in plank form......probably why they are clearing them out

The former nightmare that was Pergo, has been improved to the point of making 'slab-settling' tile more and more obsolete. And with the additional factor of easier DIY application, instead of expensive tile installs; the math gets easier.

Go to Lowes and HD, peruse the various faux wood flooring that Pergo evolved into. You can install it yourself. Sorry for repeating myself.

I have - it's a dizzying mess. This one can't get wet, this one scratches easily, this one is loud to walk on, this one can be sanded down (but only once), etc..

I'm pretty close to just buying the hardest bamboo flooring product, in a color I like, and go for it.

got excited for some cheap porcelain to throw down in the basement, but you're right. square wooden tiles are going to look ridiculous
