Amazon has several of their "National Geographic Readers" books at a discounted price. Prices start at $1.39 for "Storms" [amazon.com].

Shipping is free for Prime Members or at $25.

I ordered "Cheetahs" last week on sale for $2.xx & it's now down to $1.72. I just ordered the Alligators and Crocodiles one now and received a $1 digital credit at checkout when choosing no rush shipping. Edit: Just ordered Penguins & Dolphins as well - all in separate orders & got the $1 digital credit on each.

I didn't check Walmart, but Amazon & Walmart usually match each other on these types of deals,

I apologize for not individually listing each book... I don't have the time atm.

I have a few of these and they're only about 20-25 pages long, mostly at the 2nd grade reading level. So prob for kids.

These are designed for kids, but I enjoy reading them to mine Smilie

Not all of these are "officially" for the same age ranges. You can check each individually on their respective product page. Some are 2-5, some 5-8 (like Penguins which I just ordered) etc...

Thanks, grabbed a bunch (including some of the collections, which are 4 in 1). We had several already, and my 5 year old loves reading and discussing them.

I can't tell, are these early reader book sized or like paper magazines?

Thanks. Good for a road trip for my 5yo.

The collections seem to be the best deal. 4 for $4.

Good thing I looked at a preview on Amazon. Way too simple for my second grader unfortunately.

FYI, your public library should have these books for free.

They're readers. Definitely not magazine material, but the cover does seem a bit thinner than other readers we have. That being said, we've had most of ours 1-2 years and they've held up just as well as other readers.

My kid is 2, and loves these books! He won't be reading them for a while, but he loves hearing about the animals. Picked up a bunch of them! TU
