Is this nationwide or local prices only?

I was thinking the same thing...There is a vote for "not a good price". What would be a good price for this then? I'm assuming these are the yellow lid totes that they usually have and they never go for less than $6 unless you happen to catch them on clearance at HD or Lowes and some people say the quality on those is not the same as Costco version.

Good deal!

If it's the same one that I purchased from Costco last year, they're good quality.

I use mine to store wires and computers parts that I need randomly throughout the year

Is the plastic see through? It will be great to check the content without openning the lid.

If it's the ones that I'm thinking of, no. It is a black plastic tote with a yellow lid and they are stackable as long as they are from the same merchant.

Now. These are black plastic with a yellow lid. They have a "feature" which is a big flaw for me. Not fatal but for some of you it maybe. It's the holes they have on the lid to make it easy to lock with say a padlock. Unfortunately they make them less waterproof. So if you use these for outdoor storage where it rains or even intend to rinse them off with a garden hose, these are not good for that since water can seep in through the hole gaps.

This is them. Even the regular Costco price is cheaper than HD or Lowes on sale. When Costco has them on sale, it blows them out of the water. I think these are $12 at HD right now.

I have all the Costco, HD and Lowes versions. While they look the same, they are not the same. The sizes are all a little different so they will not inter-stack. Also, I find the Costco is the best quality. Strangely of all things, the lids on my HD ones have already faded to a really light yellow. The Costco lids are as good as the day I brought them home.

Yup, cheapest I've seen the HD or Lowe's version is about $7 on sale, thought I remember seeing a post about clearance for pretty cheap but maybe I'm wrong.

Do you happen to know if this is a national price or YMMV? I've seen these at my Costco, but when I was there last week it was at regular price ($7.99 I think).

These are solid! I purchased 12 to store stuff in while we are remodeling. They are sturdy and stack well.
