Maybe because they do not want a privacy invading POS that downloads updates all the time without your consent and gathers up all your info to sell garbage to you?

Just a thought lol.

code INS599, need to use the coupon code at the view cart page

Says it has a free license for Windows 10 as well. "Windows 7 Professional English 64bit (Includes Windows 10 Pro License)"

Edit: Decent purchase for the price especially if you're not into putting together a desktop from scratch. Its priced pretty competitively considering what's in it. Video card seems to the weakest aspect of it. Would need replacing if you wanted to play more modern games at higher quality.

I'm getting $829. Any trick to this? I'd be all over it if I can get it for $600.

Seems like a nice system for graphic design and some games. Last gen i7 I believe but 16gb of RAM and it has a windows 10 license included with a budget graphics card. Seems worth it to me. Pro is a $100 upgrade that's included in this, too.

It's R7 360 btw.

Edit: Wasn't aware of an r9 360 only of R7 360...surprisingly it seems that the r7 is slightly better haha

This looks like a pretty good deal. I have no experience with Inspiron desktops, but literally decades experience with XPS desktops. My 2 cents would be to future proof a little bit and go for an XPS desktop deal, which are around the same price or a bit more, but you arguably get more. More specifically, I'd go for the XPS 8920 -- but, I'm just assuming the MoBo, sockets, ports, etc are the latest and greatest. Maybe the Inspiron has the same.

Here is an example of an XPS 8910 deal and 8920 deal.

Woah! I think it was an omen! No joke, just as I submitted this post I got a blue screen error on my XPS dekstop! Honestly, I rarely get those -- maybe my 2nd one in 5 years.

My current desktop is an XPS 8920 and it smokes my previous Inspiron 3650 in build quality. Much better parts, more features and inputs, etc. The 3650 was so cramped to boot.

I sold the Inspiron to my parents and got the 8920 i7-7700 for ~$625 at Best Buy. Added 16 GB of RAM (up to 32 now) and an SSD... and it flies.
