This is a gaming monitor. 240Hz refresh rate and G-Sync capability are the main selling points. The TN panel is expected and only FDH (or lower) resolution is supported at 240hz. If you're in the market for a name brand monitor with these specs, the price after rebate is actually pretty good.

That's fair. This is really geared toward the hard-core gamer. I'd much rather go 1440p at 120hz with IPS and at least 27 inches. It's tough to find at this price though.

hey can someone explain to me why Gsync is more expensive than freesync?? i.ve read all over the internet,,they are very similar,,, so why would i pay more for one or the other?? that just doesn't make sense to me.. can some one explain why is that!

freesync as the name implies is a free hardware enhancement provided to monitor companies while the gsync enhancement starts with the letter g which is the 7th letter in the alphabet meaning it costs roughly 7 percent more.

so that means the higher the letter The more performance you get???? 😂😂😂😂 hey so Zsync would mean %20+ more performance then freesync then because Z is the last letter on the alphabet!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 xD LOL

gsync is hardware (chip built into monitor)
