For those of you who have AT&T and qualified for the FullScreen 1 free year offer, did you ever get hit with a $25 activation fee or extra taxes on your phone bill? Because I'm looking at the terms of the offer and it mentions those even though the main offer says that it's 1 year for free. Thanks.

Even though I've had AT&T DSL/U-verse and phone services for 17+ years with them, apparently I'm in the F-U tier.

I just cancelled my landline, so I just have internet with them now. Of course, since I have nothing bundled anymore, my internet service costs more per month now. Grrrr.

Even if you meet Plat tier - benefits still worst compared to T-Mobile Tuesday. Normally, T-mobile has $4-5 per ticket (including IMAX/ 3D movies) while AT&T is offering buy one get one. shake head while all other benefits are catered towards delivering purchases made with them faster. AT&T will definitely get trolled for coming with this.

T mobile tickets are select movies.

Agreed.

It is a free perk, so gift horse and all that jazz, but even at Plat' I highly doubt I'd use any of this stuff. At least with T-Mobile Tuesdays I am going to use the VUDU credit and a handful of others (even if T-Mobile Tuesdays is slowly becoming worse and worse).

I think AT&T's concept of rewarding customers based on the level of business they bring in is fine, it is no different than airlines or cruise ships in that way. The problem is that AT&T didn't want to invest any money into this rewards scheme and it shows, the plat' tier should be aspirational (i.e. something others are jealous of) instead it seems like a bunch of free trial offers and ways to give AT&T more money.

Completely agree - Plat level is not aspirational at all, nothing which will make me add more AT&T services to hit Plat level. Applause

No fees so far to get fullscreen. But the selection is quite subpar to even hulu. If you have amazon prime or netflix you probably wont need fullscreen...I signed up but yet to find anything worth watching that I have not already seen....
