I've had two sets of these.. both new when I originally purchased.. both sets lasted under a year before the sats started to create crackling.

Logitech CS was great tho.. sent me a new set every time. I was lucky and it happened within the warranty period.

Logitech CS is fantastic... their products aren't that great. I def would not trust a refurb of these speakers.

They still can't compare to the Z2300's. I've had them for at least 10 years and they're still wonderful.

I've had both, the logitechs are bassier and boomier, klipsh pro media is clearer and crisper with better mids and highs.

I prefer the Logitech foe computer things, games and such, the klipsch are much much better for music but falls short on games and booms overall.. Both are entry level 2.1 speakers but I think the klipsch are better overall, I use a gaming headset with mix anyways..

Wow 200 Watts for 3 channels?! How's the treble and imaging? TYIA
I've been using Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II for years but they lack mid range and no aux for just occasional headphone use

Did a massive amount of research on both and went with the Klipsch pro's based on the massively overwhelming positive reviews. Klipsch is an audio company and Logitech makes tons of peripherals, but I've heard good things about them also. There is a side-by-side comparo online somewhere, and the Promedias beat the Logitechs.

I had this set for about a year before selling it. I bought it because a lot of people said it had good bass but the bass was too boomy/muddy.

I got these brand new for I think around 80, I have been very happy, they are almost too loud! The bass is incredible IMO, the highs and mids are clear but not audiophile. These are great for gaming and movies. For music these are nice for bass heavy music, other kinds of music sound good also but not as good as a good pair of headphones.

Six years ago, I bought these speakers "dented box" from Logitech for $75, came with a free Bluetooth audio adapter. They worked great until last week. Now my left satellite emits a horrendous sound when plugged in. I've had good experiences with Logitech customer service in the past, but these are definitely out of their 2-year warranty. I can't comment much on the audio quality other than that if you aren't already used to higher quality speakers, these will sound fantastic. My only minor complaint was that the cabling can be kinda bulky. I later realized I would have preferred a more modular solution, perhaps with a built-in DAC.

Klipsch satellites have a mid and a tweeter, resulting in better mids/highs as stated. Both have as much bass as you'd ever need for a computer. I have both, and regret not getting a second Promedia set.
