Walmart B&M clearance: 3M Worktunes hearing protector as low as $5 YMMV

Walmart B&M stores have the 3M Worktunes hearing protectors with built in radio and aux jack for as low as $5. Most stores in my area have them for $19 which is still pretty slick.
Good luck and as with all clearance deals YMMV!

Thanks, I fixed the brickseek URL. Doing this on mobile is such a pain.

I've had these for awhile. Bought them elsewhere. I use them mostly for mowing the lawn. It has am fm radio bit I find even when off, the batteries still drain. That's mostly ok because you don't need the batteries to listen to the aux port. Comfortable for hours too.

Are the batteries maybe powering some sort of electric noise cancellation?

Do these provide enough protection at the gun range?

No. They are only 24dB NRR. You'd want ~30 minimum for shooting according to the recommendations I've read. Wearing ear plugs inside this headset could work, but that only gets you another ~5dB when you combine the two.

You have to go to the stores that show price/ stock in the zipcode and search. That's it. The price is always correct, but often the number of inventory is way off because Walmart's inventory tracking is trash. This is why it's best to get a few deals in mind and only go then. That way it's more likely that your trip won't be a complete waste of time.
