Newegg is not a Denon authorized seller, but this is sold in newegg marketplace by WorldWideStereo, which is an authorized reseller. Does this mean it comes with a warranty? On newegg site it lists only 90 day warranty.

Trying to hold out for a straight up $500 price. Seems like a decent price if you think you'll use the gift card though.

WWS would be the seller / authorized reseller [denon.com] so the receipt would show that

iQ Entertainment has had open box ones $499 shipped on Amazon. No tax in most states. I bought one and it's exactly like new. Accessories hadn't been touched. Also comes with 3 year warranty.

upgraded to this from a 10 year old onkyo. the improvement in audio is amazing. so glad I upgraded. now for a 4k tv in time for xbonex.
do not forget to use a cc that extends warranty on this, preferably an amex (they have been easiest for me)

Just bought a Sony STR-DN1080 over the weekend. I wonder how this compares.

Dont need the extra features for the extra 200. This is better depending on your needs. I got mine plus 12% CB from World Wide Stereo.

How did you get 12% CB?

The X3300 is a better deal for most people who don't plan to put four atmos speakers in their ceiling.

Cant say the name here but the normal 8% CB was 12% during the sale for World Wide Stereo.

I'm loving my Sony. I had this and the Sony from Amazon and ended returning the Denon. Sony just seemed higher quality and the sound just seemed better somehow.

Well said. Since i don't need HEOS and plan to install only 2 atmos speakers in the ceiling, this is a perfect match for my need with $300 less than X4300H.
