Because you don't have any brain inside your head and that's why comparing laptop deal with a Desktop. I thought your breed are not much left in Slick Deals but looks like the Cleansing has to be more effective.

Seems like a decent deal. And, not to nitpick, but it's /s. The idea is you're closing your sarcasm so the / goes first.

sorry, but I will have to disagree due to current gpu prices and ram prices right now...

for a laptop that can do gaming this is actually quite decent considering the market
at the moment.

be nice with 350 for mobo/proc (due to skylake and not kabylake)
300 for the gpu right now
90 for the ddr4
win 10 (still have to count it...
50 for the hard drive
50 for a psu
50 for a case (decent one plus possible shipping) ... even with the current market that still around 1k for a 1060 6 gb gpu that is actually probably going for over 300 right now.. and still need to add the gsync monitor....

i consider decent gaming laptops to generally cost around 1k as a good deal based on past history for sweetspots over the last decade

also for anyone else interested

newegg has the newer version with kaby lake for roughly $1235 after masterpass and 10 dollars off promo
