I love this thing and is a blast. Fun to ride and if you buy the squaretrade warranty should cover you for a few years. It's today only for this price.

I went ahead and grabbed one, having a full expectation that I'll be returning it. But we'll see if their wife allows me to keep it

Do they know about you and their wives?

Anyway, these things are fun. So get ready to convince their wives that you will need one with two motors next.

Have you tried it yet? Just wondering thoughts on it. I want the dual motor one for my son. I've been a fan of the Boosted boards for some time (Casey Neistat vlogs got me hooked), but the money for those is a little much.

I have! It's pretty fun. I am personally not a fan of it only having one motor, but it is really good price even just for one motor. If you were to buy this board for $400 retail, I'd say no. Go with the 2 motor for $500. Taking hard left turns suck because the right wheel is being driven. And it's slow going uphill.

Overall though, I'm REALLY impressed with the build quality. It feels great. And like it will last a lifetime. The one motor just seemed to be a burden.

One last note is that it doesn't handle very greatly. It's very stiff, especially if you have experience with longboards. But for a kid, I think these would be great and even for most teens and adults it's a great bargain. But the $500 one with 2 motors is much better.

Is it smooth? I have a Longboard and going down a hill with it is great.
