I'm kind of a little sick of this becoming 'Slick Amazon Prime Deals' website

It'd be one thing if it were occasional, but it's getting to be a large part of the deals, and they all require a normally $99 paywall.

The point that there are free one-time 'trials' doesn't really address the issue.

I think recently four of the first seven deals listed were Prime-only deals.

Maybe having a separate section for Prime-only deals would help.

Or should any deal with 'and add $99 to the price' be posted?

Amazon is rather unique in its size, and it'll be able to ut up huge numbers of items - it sells nearly everything - in promotions, and it dilutes the value of this site for non-Prime users.

Hello, have you tried customizing the frontpage? There is a "personalize frontpage" button on the frontpage where you can set store preferences.

So those of us with Prime should miss out because people are cheap? There are many cases where Prime makes sense and those of us with it appreciate when good deals are posted. That's how you get you value out of Prime.

Count how many times you see a good deal and then say "damn, it's Prime only". I bet if you added them up you would find Prime makes sense and you would still be saving money even with the annual cost.

If it bothers you that much then do as was mentioned above: filter out the Amazon topics. If using the forum you can setup a search to exclude Amazon and use that search link every time instead of going to the FP or forum index.

Just join the dark side. You know you want to.

I think he's suggesting that users should be able to choose whether or not they want to see those deals specifically.

@RazorConcepts This doesn't seem to apply site-wide though, does it? I don't want to see the T-Mobile deals because I'm not a T-Mobile customer, but it was the highlighted deal in the daily email sent to me. It would be great if we could filter out specific things we don't want to see.

Yeah it's not site-wide, and only applies to just the front page. But being able to filter out things from the entire site is a good suggestion!
