lowes 11% rebate on kitchen counter - denied

I recently bought new countertops at Lowes. They were advertising the 11% rebate. I went to lowes instead of Home Depot because of this.

The cashier and the kitchen salesperson said the 11% rebate was available.

I filed the rebate online that evening. The counter was bought on the last date of the rebate offer. Today, the status shows as non-compliant.

Has anyone been able to get the 11% rebate on a countertop? I have a feeling that it's because of how they price the counters as counter+install. The receipt doesn't differentiate and I'm guessing that the rebate fine print (NOT on my receipt) says that it won't apply to installation costs, etc...

Also, their computer would not allow a 10% coupon to be used in any way shape or form. 3 people tried to get it to take. (i figured it wouldn't).

Yep, right at the top of the rebate form:

You should have been able to get a rebate on the actual cost of the countertop minus the installation costs.

Call Corp support for Lowes... then let them trickle down that info to that store manager. (If iT needs to be handled there)
Also, call rebate center. I was denied a paint rebate on last day, purchase. Agent looked it up and said, I qualified, resubmitted. Thirty more days passed, ugggh. I just got the approval on the rebate site. $40 was the reason that i chose to buy paint. Try all options!
