Office Depot this week is selling the Brother MFC-L5850 for $329.99 less a 20% trade in credit if you bring in an old printer, which brings the price down to $264. I traded a 20 year old HP portable printer that no longer works and did not have the power supply or ink cartridges, and they gave me the 20% credit on the purchase price of the 5850. The OD ad says "Any Printer." If you don't have an old printer you can probably buy one on Craig's List for a few dollars.
This is a big machine, probably most suitable for a home office or small office. It has duplex copying, printing, scanning, and faxing, and a 14" platen for copying oversized documents that can't be fed through the document feeder..
This is in-store only, since you have to bring in a printer to get the deal.

The 5850 is a proprietary model that Brother makes for the office supply stores, primarily Staples and Office Depot, so they can't be price matched on it. It is essentially identical (as far as I can see) to the MFC-L5900, which is $339 at Amazon.
