Deal on an OLED65C7P - $2296.99 + Tax

I have been eyeballing the OLED65C7P and purchased one today at a price I thought was worth sharing. Fry's advertises TV at $3196.99 but then when in the store they were able to knock $900 off the price (prior to tax) bringing the price way down to 2296.99 + Tax....

I got this deal today (8/8/2017) at the Fry's in Sacramento, CA....

Great deal. I got it for the same price about a month ago. Glad their bringing that deal back. Don't forget to use your Citi or Discover card for price rewind. Can get up to $500 back.

Last time they had this deal it was an exercise in frustration trying to get through to the closest Fry's (which is like an hour and a half away) just for them to say that the deal wasn't real.

I agree on the hassle... there are two Fry's in my area and one offer $700 of and the other offered $900...

How did you get them to knock off the additional $900? Did you just ask? I thought about calling the SoCal stores to see if I can replicate this but it seems odd to ask if they can take off $900.

Will you get the same deal through phone order? TV is too big to fit in my Sedan. Hope maybe I can order through phone and get it shipped.

I want to do this deal too and the frys salesman at my local frys said he would knock 900 off if I bought 399 in extended warranty... My main question is, how do I get citi card to give 500 back like others posted? What steps do I need to do and how do I tell citi rewind to lower it another 500?

instructions are listed at citi card price rewind website, you can cancel Fry's extended warranty and get full refund before 30 days is up.Good luck. Heck of a deal imho, definitely off my list this year black friday.

The Fry's I went to mentioned the warranty thing but I told them I wasn't interested and they still gave me the $900 discount.

How do you ask for the $900 off? I called 2 Fry's and they both were clueless about any additional discounts.

So a follow-up to my last reply I went to frys and now they are out of the TV that I wanted, the lg oled65 C7p, my question now is... if I buy the same TV at Costco or Bestbuy for $3199 would it still be covered under that Citicard rewind thing and would I get a ton of money back instead of $500 or $900 or even more back as other people have listed I am very confused about the Citicard rewind thing... please help as I am trying to get the c7p for $1796.00 or at least as cheap as possible as others have reported on this thread... I really want this Tv and am trying to make it fit under budget of $2300, but I have heard such horrible things about JoesAv, and TvSuperstore, that I am almost afraid to buy online.. I really wish there was a reputable place here in Phoenix that would do a great deal.
