Great deal, but there is no stock in a 70 mile radius for me and it would cost around 30% more for shipping Frown

There should be free pickup at your local store -- they will ship it there for free and hold it for a week.

Sure as long as you plus your crab ring full of crabs doesn't exceed 275 lbs.

I can't speak to the kayak specifically, but I've been very pleased with everything I've purchased from Lifetime. They're a quality plastics company. Their sheds, chairs, tables, and garden/patio stuff that I've had have all done great through the years. Their website also has great reviews for nearly all their kayaks.

I have one, went through all the research, had a number of people telling me that anything less than $400 for a kayak is wasting money. I didn't have $400 and quite frankly this kayak works just fine.

This is as solid a kayak as you can get under $400. High density polyethylene and rotomolded. This means it won't degrade as much in the sun, can take impacts a little better, and is single-piece construction. Basically the same build as those big plastic trashcans that the garbage trucks pick up with the mechanical arm.

The only way you're going to match or exceed this quality for $215 is to find a good used deal locally. I could not so I bought this one new.

All that said, if you indeed have the $400 I would go with an Ocean kayak.

I have this model and am very satisfied with it. It's wider than normal kayaks which makes it more stable, but also less nimble. Quality wise, no issues here. I routinely throw it around, drag it on concrete, strap it down really tight on the car roof, etc.

Cabela's has it for $499 right now....as well as a few other places. So it seems to be a legit discount. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Li...201873.uts

Edit: Just noticed that Dicks has the lime green one for $299. https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/lifetime-tamarack-tioga-120-kayak-with-paddle-16lifutg120kykpckpsk/16lifutg120kykpckpsk?camp=CSEBig GrinSG_pg16458_ecom_PLA_452&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIypvGysTK1QIVgWl-Ch2vKwd5EAQYAyABEgLDXvD_BwE [dickssportinggoods.com]
