Not valid in Seattle, WA or SF Bay area. Most stores only have 10%-20% discount

For anyone in the Seattle area, I checked from Marysville to Olympia. Federal Way has the 1/2 inch for $50 (50% off), and Everett has the 3/8 inch for $49.50 (45% off).

they are liquidating these because of poor design. there is no beeping alert to notify the user when the target torque is hit. you have to literally watch the digital screen and hopefully you are in a position to observe the led screen. you wonder what some engineers are thinking when they spend time, effort and money into a design. how do you leave off the critical and simple functions.

For what it's worth, the warranty on these would be honored on the new design that does beep if you ever found that your handle grip starts slipping. Wink

A few of the reviews on Lowes.com aren't promising.

"I expected this to function like a typical Torque where you dial up you foot pounds and it will click or give once you reached your settings. No this just records how much you have done which is ok if you can see the display but if your working outside at night or if you need to do underside bolts like ball joints, its a guessing game and you either are over or under your ft pounds. At very least you should be able to rotate the display and possibly back light it. I am seriously thinking of taking it back but my Lowes does not stock the typical torque."

"The build quality is in incredible.
However, you can't set the desired torque on this wrench. You use it and stop when you hit your torque value - no leds, no beeping, just the LCD screen which is in the wrong position if you use this for tires/wheels.
I do not recommend this. Very disappointed."

"I just purchased this torque wrench today because it was at a reduced price in the store and it looks great with a hardened plastic case and the length in particular. Sadly, after reading all the very bad reviews and the greatness that other reliable torque wrenches have in common. IE, clicking in the handle and such. I'm bringing mine back as quickly as possible for a refund."
