It seems to be a good card if you travel via Cathay. Besides the sign-up bonus, it is typical for points reward, except you earn Asia Miles instead.

Cathay Flight purchase 2 Asia Miles per $1
Dining/International Purchase 1.5 Asia Miles per $1
All Others 1 Asia Miles per $1

1 Year Marco Polo Green Membership. (expedited check-in line at Airport)
2-Day Priority Flight Award Redemption. (not sure how useful it is.)

There is a $95 annual fee.

I haven't heard of SYNCHRONY BANK, however, it is good to apply if you want to pay $95 annual fee.

Yes, it is a large bank but it doesn't have any branches. The saving account offers 1.20% APR.

The card is no good unless you are taking Cathay Pacific flights to Asia.

LAX to HKG is about 7256 miles, so it is zone D in the chart. 60K points for an economy round trip.
