The consensus is that the panel doesn't get SUPER bright in dark lit rooms but with a tweak or two is a pretty darn good picture. I think the price to size ratio is what makes this a good deal

I've been curious if this TV would get any traction on here. I was hoping someone with better knowledge than me would weigh in.

Where are seeing that? The 75" mu6300 is $450 more when I look at Costco.

Anytime you ask this about almost any LG TV set other than the OLEDs, always go with another brand. As long as LG sticks with RGBW, people should be picking other sets.

https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/235043 I have an LG Tv from a previous deal, it has a great picture it's RGB and a 10 bit panel. It also supports HDR and DolbyVision I would not hesitate to buy another LG. My next one will be an OLED.

Unfortunately QLED is a marketing gimmick to help Samsung confuse customers who are considering LG's outstanding OLEDS and OLED it is not.
QLED is a slightly superior LED backlit LCD.. Not the individual color changing self lit OLEDS that are the only current technology that can produce true black and pure white on the pixel level. Not to mention the 1000hz refresh rate compared to 120hz and 240hz on LED and QLED TV's.
Samsung is simply marketing an evolutionary step in their current technology while LG has produced a game changer that is simply superior to all current technology in every respect.. (except price) but that is changing slowly.
