They both have the same read speed at 80 MB/s.

The only difference I can find between these two is the Ultra Plus also has an additional video memory speed of U1 (UHS-1). From what I understand, the UHS speed is only really needed for 4K HD videos.

So it is a better card, but it also depends on the capability of your device if you can even use that feature.

for 5 bucks more, the evo select on amazon is probably better (90MB/s write), but I guess if you don't need the speed, saving a couple extra bucks is good.

Came up 34.99 for me. Bought one. Was gonna go w/a u3 PNY for 39.99 on amazon but this u1 was 34.99 no promo code needed
